I brought this bag with me to Yellowstone. While the night temperatures didn't get down to 10 degrees, it reached 35 degrees and it certainly felt freezing. But I was warm and comfortable in the sleeping bag. Often I made use of it to hide from the cold :) Perhaps it is worth a mention that we had been also sleeping on inflatable mats, not on the floor. There are a couple of compartments on it to keep some modest factors I didn't use them but they're great. Also you can unzip the foot location to reveal a mesh when you want airflow. It is pretty light too, I weighed it at 4 lbs three oz (don't quote me on this, it is around there, give or take a handful of ounces!).
So why not five stars? Because 1) there's no stuffing bag that would have created carrying it a lot a lot easier. It comes with something of a smaller duffel bag that had to be carried by hand simply because it's type of huge to fit in a backpack. Not the most ideal scenario if you are backpacking. My husband has a sleeping bag from R.E.I. that has this stuffing bag and it tends to make a tremendous distinction in the final carrying volume. And two) quite often the zipper was a small annoying to zip up and needed a few tries. But it does not exactly get stuck, like some reviewers say of other Swiss Gear bags. It doesn't zip all the way down either which doesn't bother me substantially but it is worth a mention.
So general it really is a really good bag and definitely worth the dollars. I purchased it in the initial spot because it was a cost-effective and light 10-degree bag. You wont be disappointed for the reason that it's a fine worth.
I first took this bag to sturgis were it did not get cold so getting the mesh foot flap was superb lots of airflow. Then when I did use it in the cold was great and warm have had no complications with the bag! If it came with a stuff sack I would have gave it 5 stars for certain!
