We have quite a few high-quality and high-priced sleeping bags for cold weather camping, but for most summer outdoors camping they are just Too warm. We bought these from amazon and took them camping last week. We were Extremely happy with their softness and insulation! Our night tempratures had been 45-50 degrees and they kept us warm but not overheated. We truly like the scooped leading so our pillows didn't slide off and get on the tarp. My husband is six ft three inches and the additional length was outstanding for his height. I like the added width so I can turn over devoid of feeling like I am trapped. You cannot zip these bags together but they are awesome single sleeping bags.
This sleeping bag is a good value--reasonably priced, lightweight, roomy, and extremely cozy at the similar time. I bought it for use indoors in a cool climate (New England in the winter). I am not a backpacker or serious outdoor sort, and regardless of years of Scouting and family members camping have never ever enjoyed sleeping outdoors, so am only commenting on use of this sleeping bag indoors.
The lining fabric feels very good, not clammy or cold, against the skin. In between that and its light weight, it almost feels like a down comforter. I felt incredibly comfortable in a slightly cool room--not too hot or cold. The additional length and width created it comfortable even for my 6'3" son.
It rolls up conveniently to a pretty compact size for storage.
I've had pretty a few sleeping bags over the years. This one is, by far, the most comfy, and an excellent value. I am rather pleased with it.
